5 Star Google Business Review Rating

Not having your kit or equipment calibrated for a significant time will likely lead to faults, inaccuracies, inefficient operation, and a higher likelihood of accidents and injuries.

Insufficient equipment maintenance may often result in a voided warranty or issues with your insurance.

GNW Instrumentation has a decade of experience with on-site calibration services, and each client has a purpose-built and tailored service to meet their specific requirements.

What Is An On-Site Calibration Process?

On-site calibration involves a visit from specialists to your site or premises, enabling them to test, adjust and maintain equipment without removing it from the environment in which it usually operates.

This approach is often favoured above the off-site alternative, as it is usually quicker – which means less downtime. What’s more, there is less likelihood of machinery being damaged in transit or of the calibration being undertaken in an environment that does not reflect your usual working conditions.

GNW Instrumentation offers on-site calibration services to a wide range of industries, including:

If you do not feel that the sector in which you operate is reflected above, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the GNW team – as this is by no means an exhaustive list.

The GNW Approach

Our approach to on-site calibration is straightforward, efficient, and transparent from start to finish.

We’ll ask you to complete an onboarding questionnaire, including details of all equipment requiring calibration. Once we confirm that the equipment can be calibrated, we’ll offer a free, no-obligation quote.

We’ll assess the information you gave us before arranging to visit your site or premises to begin the process – at a date and time that suits you. We will provide details of the work we intend to do and confirm that you are happy to proceed.

During our communications, we’ll give you a clear idea of what will happen on the day, including any downtime that may be involved, so that you can plan accordingly. Sometimes, we may need to take equipment off-site to work on it effectively during the calibration process.

If this is to be the case, we will provide you with details of how we will do this – including the safety measures we will take – and we will also provide you with a clear timescale for its return so that you are always in the loop.

If we find that certain equipment or machinery is experiencing maintenance issues, we will contact you to check whether you wish us to proceed with a repair. If you confirm, we will repair it and include the cost in our fee.

If you do not wish us to repair the equipment, we will happily dispose of it on your behalf.

Calibration is directly followed by verification. As soon as we have completed the process, we’ll provide you with a certificate of confirmation for your records – so you’ll have a record of what was done and when it took place.
