GNW Instrumentation is a trading name of Gauges North West Ltd, first established in 1974 as a family owned and run business.

With over 40 years experience in the instrumentation trade we have built up an excellent reputation for efficient and reliable service with our wide variety of loyal customers, the majority of which have been dealing with us for many years. We specialise in the manufacture, refurbishment and calibration of an extensive range of both electronic and mechanical instrumentation, and pride ourselves on our custom manufacturing for some of the biggest names in the engineering trade.

In late 2014 after a period of rapid growth, we moved to our new, larger premises in Southport offering more space, enabling us to employ more staff, and allowing us to create dedicated areas for new product ranges.

Our excellent reputation within the instrumentation industry has meant we have been chosen to represent some very well known brands such as Nikon Metrology, Metrel, Sika and Kern.

We are ISO 9001 accredited, so you can be assured of the quality of our products and services – providing backup support and service at all levels is our speciality.

We can design and manufacture one-off’s and ‘odd ball’ instrumentation to suit any application. We have an in-house design and manufacturing facility that can quickly produce out of the ordinary items catered to your exacting requirements.

Our instrumentation is used worldwide in laboratories and industries where extremes of range and accuracy are required. Over the years our close working partnership with our customers, suppliers and end users has enabled us to deliver the highest level of engineering excellence and constantly develop our product and service range as an instrumentation & calibration company.
