S BEAM LOAD CELLS

The S-Beam load cell series is designed for force measurement and weighing applications alike. Its ease of mounting makes it very attractive for use as a general purpose load cell and is equally suited for laboratory and harsh environments due to its fully welded stainless steel construction.

It is ideally suited for weighing applications in food, pharmaceutical, brewing or any other plant that requires regular wash down for hygienic reasons.

There are many options that are available to further enhance the usefulness of this series of load cells and to assist engineers with on site installation.

The S-beam load cell is designed for force measurement and weighing applications alike. Its ease of mounting makes it very attractive for use as a general purpose load cell.

LOW RANGE PRECISION TENSION & COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

GNW ‘s range of low capacity high precision load cells have been designed for the measurement of compressive and tensile forces. They are used extensively for bi-directional testing across a wide range of research and industrial applications.

Typical applications include material test machines, component test rigs and general in-line force measurement.

This range can also be used in low capacity weighing applications , particularly with small suspended hoppers, where a slim compact and accurate load cell is required.

There are several options available which makes it possible for the user to match the product even more precisely with their requirements.

DOUBLE ENDED SHEAR BEAM LOAD CELLS

This is a double ended shear beam load cell designed for high capacity silo weighing applications.

The high accuracy load cell when combined with suitable mounting arrangements will provide a simple accurate and reliable weighing system.

HIGH CAPACITY COLUMN TYPE COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

STAINLESS STEEL HIGH CAPACITY COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

A low profile bending/torsion ring load cell designed for high capacity weighing systems such as silos and weigh bridges. It is also ideally suited for force measurement applications where high accuracy is required and the force to be measured is high and in a confined space such as in press calibration

STAINLESS STEEL LOW PROFILE COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

A range of low profile compact load cells designed for the measurement of compressive forces.

It is equally suited for both force measurement and weighing applications alike.
Its compact size means that it can be fitted into the smallest of spaces and is often retrofitted. In weighing systems the low height gives and added benefit in that it does not increase the headroom required for vessels and is simple to install.

STAINLESS STEEL ANNUAL/FORCE WASHER LOAD CELL

A range of annular/force washer load cells that has been designed for the measurement of compressive forces and they are used in a wide range of research and industrial applications.

They are often used in electro-mechanical test rigs and other critical bolted installations for monitoring continuously or periodically the tension profile or bolts during their use in the installation. They can also be used in cable tension systems and are usually positioned at the cable anchor point.

STRAIN GAUGE BASED BOLT ON STRAIN SENSING LOAD CELLS

GNW’s series of Bolt-on-Strain sensors are designed to be attached directly to steel structures. They are capable of detecting tensile, compressive and bending stresses and converting them to a useable electrical signal.

Utilising the latest strain gauge technology each sensor is manufactured from specifically selected high grade alloy steel with thermal coefficients of expansion matched to structural steel. Each unit is temperature cycled to ensure that the effects of temperature variation are minimised. To ensure complete protection from all but the harshest of environments each sensor is fully encapsulated with a high strength waterproof compound.

Typical weighing applications include silo, hoppers, storage vessels, bins and tanks and overload protection systems on cranes, winches, lifts and presses.

For installation each unit is supplied with a template to which the two mounting blocks are attached using high tensile cap head bolts. The mounting blocks are welded in position using the template which is then removed and the bolt on sensor attached in its place.

STAINLESS STEEL MINIATURE COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

This range of low profile miniature load cells is designed for the measurement of compressive forces.

Equally suited for both force measurement and weighing applications. Its compact size means that it can be fitted in to the smallest of spaces and is often retrofitted. It’s small physical size had made it very attractive in many industrial process measurement applications for monitoring or control purposes.

MOMENT INSENSITIVE SINGLE POINT LOAD CELLS

This series of load cells were primarily engineered for use and integration within industrial and laboratory scales, they are equally suited for use in a wide range of force measurement applications.

The design of this series of load cells accompanied by the volume manufacturing techniques make it an ideal solution for applications where low forces are to be measured with a tight budget.

Environmental sealing gives the series added protection when in use in damp or wet conditions whilst overload stops are easily employed to give added mechanical protection.

MINIATURE LOW PROFILE TENSION & COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

GNW’s range of low profile tension and compression load cells are designed for the measurement of tensile or compressive forces.

The design enables in-line mounting of the load cell in a variety of industrial, research and development applications. Its compact size makes it advantageous in applications where it is not possible to fit conventional load cells.

The low deflection and high natural frequency of this series of load cells offer particular benefits in material testing and cable tension monitoring applications..

LOW PROFILE/PANCAKE TENSION & COMPRESSION LOAD CELLS

GNW’s low profile pancake type load cells are suitable for both weighing and force measurement applications.

Constructed from tool steel (with hardened painted finish) for robustness in even the most arduous of environmental conditions the cell has welded diaphragms and is back filled with an inert gas for hermetic sealing.

The load cells design provides excellent resistance to extraneous forces such as bending, side and torsional forces.

The load cell is used widely for vessel and silo weighing, platform/deck jacking systems, airframe test rigs, material testing machines and many other applications that have extraneous forces present or need high frequency response to applied load.
