HUMIDITY ANALYSERS

GNW have an extensive range of Humidity Analysers ranging from basic humidity
monitors through to the more complex Diverse Environment Precision Thermo-Hygrometers.

Ideal for monitoring food, medical product storage, transportation conditions, clean rooms and labs etc. GNW will be able to supply you with an instrument to exactly meet your requirements.

STICK THERMO-HYGROMETER Offers the convenience of small compact design giving quick monitoring of environmental conditions. They can measure temperature, humidity and dewpoint. The swivel head enables the best viewing angles for reading the digital display.

PEN & POCKET THERM-HYGROMETER This range gives precision capacitance sensor and user calibration. The pen type design simultaneously displays temperature and %RH. The sensor is located in the void of a protective grill therefore making the instrument ideally suited for taking measurements in an air stream.

THE pH TESTER FAMILY This is a family of a one piece self contained instrument housed in a sturdy reinforced ABS plastic case. The case design gives high degree of protection and is supplied with a large protective end cap that can be used as a measuring vessel.

HAND HELD DIGITAL pH METER Lo-cost Portable pH/mV°c Meter with Automatic Temperature Compensation A portable hand held multi purpose meter that combines accurate measurement of pH/mV°c and ATC with a membrane keypad. The comprehensive front panel allows the selection of pH, mV (REDOX) and temperature modes along with a simple 2 point calibration through slope and offset trimmers.

The large, easy to read LCD shows the readings together with a symbol in the corner to
indicate the mode. The interchangeable electrode and temperature probe (supplied) are of the highest quality construction and assure the user of accurate measurements throughout their respective ranges.

DOUBLE JUNCTION ELECTRODE pH METER

The convenience of a pocket meter with a state of the art double junction, full size pH electrode. Double junction electrodes provide better and more stable results that a standard electrode particularly in unclean or varied samples

COMBINATION WATERCHECK pH METER Reads both pH and Conductivity/Total Dissolved Solids in one meter with Automatic Temperature Compensation.These combination pocket meters provide on the spot measurements of pH and conductivity or pH and TDS being cost effective units substituting two instruments. Simply dip the bottom 25mm of the Watercheck in your sample and read two important parameters in seconds. The meters are rugged and specifically designed for field applications.

CONDUCTIVITY/TDS TESTERS WITH ATC Easy Measurement of Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids with Automatic TemperatureRegardless of what field you are in, the amount of salt and solids (TDS) in water can be important.

Salt causes corrosion and leaves scale deposits, which will damage industrial equipment. Too much salt can harm aquatic flora and fish and too little salt (low conductivity) will prevent effective transfer of nutrients to the plant life. Salt is not desirable in your drinking water.

The DiST testers are reliable, pocket sized instruments that will give you quick and accurate readings of conductivity and TDS. No need to match colours or use dropper bottles. Simply dip the tester and read the display.
DiST 1 and DiST2 give readings in ppm (parts per millions CaC0³), and DiST3 and DiST4 give readings in µS/cm (microns siemens or micromhos).

Temperature affects your conductivity measurements by 2% per degree centigrade. Automatic Temperature
Compensation assures that all readings are corrected to compensate for the effect of temperature. A LCD displays the digits clearly so they can be read at virtually any angle. If calibration is necessary simply submerge the electrode in to calibration solution and turn the trimmer at the back of the tester.

PRECSION THERMO-HYGROMETERS Are designed to meet the needs of the professional in environmental monitoring. Sensing is done by way of a precision thermistor with a humidity by a capacitance polymer film sensor. The probes have a vented protection grill over the sensors and is connected via a coiled cable. Control is microprocessor based giving precision and accuracy.

DEWPOINT THERMO-HYGROMETERS
Designed for reliability and accuracy these hygrometers are excellent for the workplace. With integrated or separate probe this range combines digital temperature, humidity and dewpoint monitoring. Accessories available are protective rubber boot, padded carry case and calibration capsule for calibration checks.

A full print out is available via the optional printer. The link between the instrument is by infra-red invalidating the need for clumsy leads.

PRINTER/DATALOGGER The optional printer datalogger is ideal for the professional, giving in-depth and detailed analysis of logged data. Microprocessor based and giving virtually instant readings measured values can be printed instantly or on a selected interval basis. This allows the instrument to left operating unsupervised.

ANEMOMETERS

DIGITAL & ANALOGUE THERMO-ANEMOMETER Using measurement by sophisticated electronics and converting into a reading, this range of thermal anemometers gives an almost instant reading of air velocity and temperature or either clear analogue scales or digital LCD. The probe is ideal for measuring grills, diffusers, narrow airways and ducting. The sensing element is a precision thermistor bead and is non-mechanical operating at 120°c. It can be accurately used for very low velocity sampling.

POCKET ANEMOMETER
Giving high accuracy, combined with strength and affordability.
Designed to read even very low air flow the combination of a robust and waterproof case, large easy to read display plus a carrying lanyard make these ideal for practically all conditions and uses.

HOTWIRE STICK ANEMOMETER An instrument that measures air velocity, volume and temperature this compact anemometer with the unique feature of a swivel head that can be turned 180° to obtain the best viewing angle. The probe stem incorporates a universal joint alos capable of 180° swivel.

VANE ANEMOMETER GNW’s Vane Anemometers combine versatility, accuracy and ease of use. Lightweight, robust and simple to use there is an instrument for all applications. Designed for single operation metric or imperial measurement modes are available. Units have a selectable variable time base that constantly updates readings.

AIR FLOW HOOD KIT Get two instruments from one. Multiply the capability of your anemometer and turn it into an air volume flow meter. Flow hoods are a fast and accurate method of maximising the usefulness of your vane anemometer. Ideal for balancing grills, diffusers, linears, air valves and leakage checks.

ULTRASONIC ANEMOMETER
GNW’s Ultrasonic Anemometer measures air velocity, volume, flow and air stream temperature. Unique ultrasonic technology accurately measures flowing clean air and inter gas. Over 3600 readings are taken every second ensuring a rapid speed of response.

Virtually maintenance free they can be used in damp or mildly dusty atmospheres, it is designed to help meet stringent requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health and Building Regulations in the UK.

DIGITAL WATER TESTER 4 in 1 Temperature, pH, Conductivity and ORP Water Tester A portable lightweight testing laboratory with its own sample reservoir attached to the base of the instrument. It provides rapid and reliable measurements of the four most important variables in water analysis, namely pH, ORP, Conductivity and Temperature.

The case construction is of rugged construction which provides excellent protection from harsh environmental conditions found when out in the field. Typical applications are water treatment analysis, waste water tests, ecological studies, hydroponic applications etc.

WATERPROOF pH & °C METER A Rugged Instrument Simple to Use Reading pH & °C from a Single Probe Supplied with a rugged 4-in-1 pH electrode which in addition to the pH reference system and sensitive bulb incorporates a temperature sensor and miniaturised amplifier. You need to use only one probe for both measurements

The electrode signal is also pre-amplified and strengthened to give better protection against noise and Electro-magnetic interference, a common phenomenon in industrial applications. The calibration trimmers are sealed behind a protected cover. Once the meter is calibrated the trimmers cannot be accidentally moved or readjusted by unauthorised personnel.

WATER PURITY TESTER
The pure water tester enables you to check the purity of distilled or de-mineralised water in laboratory or industry. Ideally suited for fields such as printed circuit board washing, laundry, steam cleaning, checking car battery water and many other areas. Housed in a waterproof case which provides protection against harsh industrial environments

REDOX POTENTIAL TESTER Oxidation is a process in which a molecule or ion loses electrons. Reduction is a process by which electrons are gained. A measurement of the potential for these processes to occur is called Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) The ORP is a unique hand held tester developed to determine this value.

CONDUCTIVITY METERS GNW’s range of Conductivity Meters offer automatic temperature compensation ideal for field measurement or for use in adverse working conditions. Measuring deionised water to brine without requiring re-calibration via a four ring potentiometirc method.

OXYGEN METERS These rugged, waterproof dissolved oxygen meters solve the common problem of field use having a 4m probe against water, dirt and dust. Calibration is simple, just switch on, dip and read. Zero oxygen solution while 100% is done in the air (no chemical solution) the advanced palaeographic probe provides fast, stable and accurate readings.

There is the option of the datalogger/printer, ideal for constant monitoring or 0² levels. Printing the date, time, sample, mg/L0² and temperature.

REFRACTOMETERS GNW’s refractometers are precision optical instruments ideal for field and laboratory applications for on the spot measurements. Simple and easy to use giving precise measurement in seconds.

ELECTRO CHEMICAL SOLUTIONS, BATHS AND MAGNETIC STIRRERS GNW have an extensive range of calibration ,cleaning and storage solutions made from established formulae. Available in either sachets for infrequent calibrations and 460ml, 1 litre or 12 galleon containers for heavy duty applications.

Often common stirrers are too large and heavy to fit in the limited space of a laboratory. GNW offer a range of lightweight, low cost and adjustable speed magnetic stirrers with optical speed sensor control. Lack of laboratory bench space will no longer be a concern.

GNW's range of standard ultrasonic baths cater for low volume precision cleaning of PCBs, electronic components, fuel injection systems, surgical instruments, immersion and penetration probes etc. Ultrasonic cleaning works by combining a suitable cleaning fluid with the gentle yet aggressive scrubbing actions created by high frequency sound within a liquid. This combination of electronic engineering and chemistry provides unsurpassed cleaning results and has been proven to be 16 times more effective than manual cleaning.

GAS MONITORS GNW offer a range of models of Gas Analysers to monitor different gases including toxic, flammable and oxygen. Highly visible and audible alarms warn the user quickly of dangerous gas levels. Intrinsically safe they can be used in explosive situations with complete confidence.
