GNW's 'Instrument Track' Calibration Database
Our web based database application is suitable for all industries but is ideal for the medical market or businesses with lager numbers of assets.
With GNW's Instrument Track, you will no longer have to worry about the management of paper copies of test certificates or forgetting about equipment test dates. The database stores all the information you need about all of your equipment, and is even fully searchable.
The web-based directory is username and password protected, and unlimited further Users can be created by an approved Administrator. We are even able to offer an encrypted 'https' protected version if required.
So How Does it Work?
Each item of equipment has its own record 'card'. This card shows all the defining details about the item such as its basic description, manufacturer, model number, and also any serial numbers, asset numbers and its last known location.
The record card can then be updated to include the last calibration date and the frequency of the required calibration parameters can be adjusted (eg. 6 monthly or 2 yearly). This will then generate a calibration reminder that is automatically sent to one or more provided email addresses. To prevent calibration reminders being missed or ignored, in addition GNW receive the same calibration reminder and shall be in touch about arranging to have the item calibrated, so it is never out of its required tolerance.
If the status of the instrument ever changes before the reminder is due, a User can update this manually. For example, by clicking the 'repair' button, a Repair Request is sent to us (and the assigned Admin User) we will contact the relevant department to arrange having this collected to be either fixed or replaced.
Nothing more needs to be done by you saving you many hours of time, and more importantly money.
What Makes Instrument Track So Different?
Our unique feature is our digital management of test certificates.
A copy of the test certificate is uploaded to the database and is saved as a simple PDF, which is then linked to an individual instrument record. To view the test certificate, all you need to do is click the button and a copy is then shown on your screen. This enables any member of staff with the log in details and access to the internet to view test certificates from literally anywhere - gone is the hassle of having to search through backdated files and folders to find a test certificate.
The system can also store all historical test certificates, which is hugely beneficially when it comes to QA audits and multi-site management.
We also have a free SST (Single Source for Testing) add on to Instrument Track. This add on means GNW will be your sole contact for all your testing needs. You only deal with one company, have one invoice to process, and have one bill to pay, simplifying the lengthy process of instrument testing and management leaving you with more time to do more important things!
