Earth Loop Testers
GNW offer a range of earth loop testers that have been designed to fully comply with the requirements of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and incorporates an array of user defined features.
All models are suitable for measuring earth fault loop impedance at the origin and at various points throughout the installations
RCD Testers
GNW's range of RCD Testers are suitable for checking the operation of BS4293, delayed and non-delayed RCD’s in accordance with the requirements of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Microprocessor driven and equipped with the new high performance integrated circuits and software. Offering exceptional accuracy and robustly designed GNW's RCD testers can withstand fluctuating mains voltage without compromising accuracy and readings.
16th / 17th Edition & Part P Testers
The 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2008) was published in January 2008, and comes into effect from the 1 July 2008.
From then on all commercial, domestic and industrial wiring installations must be designed, constructed, inspected, tested and certificated to meet the requirements of BS 7671:2008
Why do we need another Edition of the Wiring Regulations?
A combination of new technologies, products and continuing harmonization mean that the Wiring Regulations have to incorporate changes; and we can expect no let up in this progress as time goes by.
We offer a range of 17th Edition and Part P electrical testers from basic Part P testers through to the multi-function test kits, containing all the necessary testers and leads needed to verify the safety of electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
All testers ensure fixed wiring is safe and correctly installed to meet the requirements of BS7671 and IEC 60364.
PAT Testers
Under the Electricity at Work Regulations employers are required to maintain the portable appliances in use on their premises.The intention is to ensure a managed system exists to prevent accidents arising from faulty appliances.
GNW's range of PAT testers have been designed to carry out the required electrical tests required as outlined by the EAWR 1989.
Being both cost effective and user friendly GNW can provide a PAT that will perform all the tests required for class I & II appliances. Capable of handling hundreds of appliance test results giveing uncompromising levels of safety.
