Types of Recorders available
Flatbed Recorders are designed for easy transportability. Use them on the benchtop to perform short-term monitoring. These recorders normally record less than five channels at a time and do not have spools or trays to collect recorded paper.
Vertical Recorders feature multiple recording channels, wall-mount capabilities, and paper spools. Vertical recorders are ideal for long-term monitoring in industrial settings.
Circular Recorders allow you to record data on a single sheet of chart paper. Recorders typically record for a specific amount of time such as one hour, 24 hours, one day, or seven days.
Paperless Recorders represent the latest in data recording technology. View, analyze, and manipulate graphs and other representations of your data as it is being recorded. Paper records are replaced by onscreen trending and data is stored electronically.
Dataloggers are a paperless alternative to chart recorders with better resolution and accuracy. They're ideal for logging data in remote locations for extended periods of time. Download stored data to a PC for easy analysis.

| CHART RECORDERS |
A chart recorder is an electro-mechanical device that records an electrical or mechanical input trend onto a piece of paper (the chart).
Chart recorders may record several inputs using different color pens and may record onto strip charts or circular charts.
Chart recorders may be entirely mechanical with clockwork mechanisms or electro-mechanical with an electrical clockwork mechanism for driving the chart (with mechanical or pressure inputs) or entirely electronic with no mechanical components at all (a virtual chart recorder).
They are built in three primary formats.

| CIRCULAR CHART RECORDERS |

|
Circular Chart Recorders measure and display various process variables and have a variety of programmable inputs.
Each channel is compatible with all industry-standard sensors and signals, including thermocouple types J, K, T, E, N, R, S, and B; Pt100 platinum RTDs; and 4 to 20 mA current loops.
Low and high measurement ranges are provided for each input type.
Multi-input versions are available.
Single or multi-pen versions avialable

Housed in a strong moulded case that can be panel or surface mounted. A gasket-lockable door protects internal components from harsh industrial environments and offers protection rated to IP55
A tough acrylic window lets the user view the chart trace, digital channel readings, and alarm status with the recorder's door closed. |
| REPAIR & CALIBRATION |
We offer calibration and repair services of almost all manufacturers (both controllers and recorders) that is unsurpassed by anyone.
We offer troubleshooting and repair of all types of recorders.
Our technical staff will quickly find the reason for the fault or failure of the chart recorder and advise you of your repair options.
With ever increasing costs for new units, we can most likely repair your units for much less that the cost of new, including obsolete models. We have a comprehensive spare parts store, enabling us to repair before offering a sometimes costly replacement.
Using industry standard test equipment to ascertain the units condition. We repair all chart recorders to component level and do not outsource our work to other electronic repair or instrumentation repair firms.
Keep in mind that we have been in this industry for many years and often know exactly what to look for based on previous experience. |
