| DEPTH
& LEVEL TRANSMITTERS GNWs range of Depth and Level Transmitters have been designed for the accurate measurement of depth in fluids compatible with stainless steel and alumina. The ceramic measuring diaphragm is an insulator with a bridge of high resistance thus greatly reducing the problem of strain gauge burn out from high voltage surges, experienced in field applications. |

Electrical connection is
via a screened cable protected by a tough nylon pressure tight sheath which allows
excellent trouble-free venting to the surface. It is important that the top end
of the sheath is terminated into a protected dry area to prevent any condensation
occurring.
Standard depth transmitters are fitted with nylon nose cones to
prevent sludge build-up. For measurement of depth in sludge/slurry materials the
transmitters are mounted on a platform to lift the diaphragm of the
transmitter
above the sludge/tar level.
Typical applications include reservoir levels, borehole fluid levels, water mains pressure inspection chambers, power level, outlet pressure on submersible pumps and slurry/sludge level measurement.

PRESSURE
TRANSMITTER WITH BARRIER SEALS GNW offer a range of barrier seals for applications where the process media is unsuitable for direct contact with the transducer diaphragm. Seals are available in a variety of forms and materials for particular purposes. They may be directly attached to the process connection or remotely via capillary. |
