CHARTS & PENS
Charts are normally supplied with the minimum temperature at the centre. For ease of reading it is advisable to choose a range in which the working temperatures are between 50 and 80% of the instrument span.

The standard chart duration's are one revolution every 12 hours, 24 hours and 7 days, chart drive being either an electrical or mechanical motor. Alternatively an electrical chart drive with its own built in recharging reserve power unit can be selected to give a continuing chart record through a mains failure condition, the power
accumulator holds the capacity to drive for 5 days continuously.

Other chart duration's can be supplied to special order
Disposable fibre tipped pens are readily replaceable without mess. A range of colours are available for ease of definition

PAPERLESS RECORDERS
GNW are leading industry into the new millennium with an advanced paperless recorder system. Offering performance and software capability to meet the most sophisticated operational requirements.
Advantages of paperless recording are:- no paper, pens mess or maintenance. A twelve month payback on pen recorder replacements. Data storage up to 1 Gbyte. User customised application displays. Plus many more.
TEMPERATURE RECORDERS
GNW’s versatile range of Temperature Recorders are suitable for most applications where there is a requirement for reliable temperature monitoring and control at low cost. Numerous options are available in single, two and three pen versions. The case is suitable for surface or flush panel mounting or as a portable instrument with the bulb mounted on the back of the case.
GNW’’s recorders are so designed permitting easy access to the chart and pens but also sealed against dust and moisture.
PRESSURE RECORDERS
GNW’s range of Pressure Recorders are sensitive and reliable instruments. They are virtually friction free and keeps backlash and hysteresis to a minimum. In filed working conditions GNW’s recorders maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency for exceptionally long periods without attention.

Supplied to measure gauge pressure, suction, combined pressure and suction, absolute pressure or differential pressure. The measuring element used is a diaphragm for low pressures and a bourdon tube for high pressures.
The case is suitable for surface or flush panel mounting or as a portable instrument with the bulb mounted on the back of the case.

GNW’s recorders are so designed permitting easy access to the chart and pens but also sealed against dust and moisture.

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY RECORDERS
GNW’s range of temperature and humidity recorders use the proven design combination of bimetallic coils and hygroscopic membrane for the direct measurement of temperature and humidity.

Changes in atmospheric temperature and humidity are detected by the two elements within the recorder. The bimetallic coil monitoring the temperature and hygroscopic element the humidity.

Air is drawn through the instrument and over the two sensing elements by an electrically driven fan. Expansion or contraction of the bimetallic coil due to temperature change, causes pen movement by direct linkage. Similarly a change in humidity causes extension or contraction of the hygroscopic membrane and direct linkage again causes movement of the second pen. The pens trace in different colours for ease of recognition.

STRIP CHART RECORDERS
GNW’s strip Chart Recorders provide multipoint recording functions including print skip, and has the options of 12 alarm set points, two per channel, retained battery backed memory for one year, real time battery backed clock calendar and capability of printing instrument status and customised scale data.
